For her birthday, C and I gave Olivia her first dollhouse. It’s specially designed for the Under Three Crowd with chunky people and parts. She loves to sit on the floor in her room and play house, and I love that she has something she enjoys doing for little stretches by herself. O is currently fascinated with all bathroom activities, so the little family who lives here spends a lot of time emptying their bladders.
This picture doesn’t do it justice, but O decided to put her pajamas back on over her regular clothes while she played. Cracks me up.
When I told her I wanted a photo of her pretty outfit, she wouldn’t get up and pose for me. She did, however, want me to take the photo of all of the residents of her little dollhouse. This is Mom.
And here is Dad. He likes to sleep on the roof, hang out on the balcony and potty.
I learned today that this is Peanut Butter. She is the big sister in the house. It is so fun to hear the names that she assigns to her toys and animals.
And finally we have Baby. She usually spends her time playing with the dog in the house, also named Rocky (like ours). Rocky, however, due to a mishap during a trip to the potty with Olivia, is currently in the dishwasher waiting for a bath.
I told Olivia I wanted to get her picture with her dollhouse. I guess we still have some work to do on our prepositions.
Pausing to smile for the camera.
